Montana Academy is organized and bounded by policies determined by its board of directors. These decisions shape the Academy’s program, procedures and practices—and are implicit in the way the Academy functions.
Some key policies ought to be made explicit from the start for any parent who considers bringing a teenager to Montana Academy. Some of these policies protect the very integrity of the clinical work at Montana Academy. They have not been framed casually. The board is firm and clear about them. And insofar they may well influence a family’s decision to seek admission, and parents have a right to know about them before they begin an application, we make them explicit here.
