In this section we describe the essential features of the Academy three core structures: its clinical intervention; its maturational program; and its school. A broad initial essay, “A Therapeutic School,” describes the Academy’s current structure (2010). Another, “A Brief History,” explains why (in 1997) we took the trouble to create this unusual therapeutic academy.
Three other conceptual essays—one under each section—make sense of the Academy’s clinical approach; program rationale; and academic philosophy. Other shorter articles under each of the three section heading (clinical, program and school) provide specifics. A fourth section cites the Academy’s licensure and accreditation.
