Montana Academy’s school operates on a block system (see The School), and its student body, compared to other boarding schools, is small and intimate. For that reason there can only be so many class slots in the schedule. The entire range of available courses cannot be taught all at the same time. A selection from the total list of possible courses (and teachers, given their vacation schedules) gets selected to be taught in each block—on the basis of an anticipation of the core course needs of our current students (i.e., how many students need Algebra II or Spanish I) and the elective options current students would like to have available.
The following link brings up—as a printable pdf file—a descriptions of that universe of available Montana Academy course offerings.
