BA, Journalism, University of Montana
Peregrine joined Montana Academy in 2018 after a career in journalism. During college he spent a summer in Nepal writing about the country’s efforts to forge a new constitution in the aftermath of a major earthquake, and after graduating from the University of Montana he spent a year as an environmental reporter in Greenwich, Connecticut. After the 2016 election he went to work for political magazine Washington Monthly in Washington, D.C. reporting on the transition to the new administration. Soon after, he felt drawn back to his Montana roots to report on politics and business for the daily newspaper based in nearby Kalispell, Montana. He is still a freelance writer and enjoys writing, reading, cooking and skiing with his students at MA.
